All I Ever Wanted

by Kristan Higgins

Kristan Higgins is an auto-buy author for me. Love her style, her sense of humor. However I think she hit her peak at her second and third books, her later effort reads mostly like encore/medley of her previous books. We see a lot of familiar themes she uses over and over - online dating service (and mostly hilarious dates that ensued), kooky elderly characters, etc.

This book is no exception, we have a vet hero (more talkative Malone(Catch of the day)), a cranky-but-always-there grand pa (the dog in Catch of the day), a spunky stalking heroine (hello, Millie!!), a user/unrequited love (again, father Tim from Catch of the Day),...
and I can go on.

Then you might ask why 4 stars. Because...back to the beginning it's Kristan Higgins' writing.
