Nonstop action, fast pace storytelling. I finished the whole book in one sitting, breathlessly anticipating to turn the next page. The main romance however lacks something something. Sometimes all the sexy times interspersed between all the escaping and evading and investigating feel forced and rather obligatory. I even felt annoyed when the couple started fooling around because I just wanted to move on, to get to the next exciting part. I liked Gage and Kelsy enough in the prequel. I still like them here, but their romance doesn't do me anything anymore. The secondary romance...that's what I call interesting. All in all, Scorced still achieves the high standard of this excellent series and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
